Gemfields Generates sales of $ 10.88 Million from mini-Auctions
Gemfields, a gem miner, generated $ 10.88 million in sales of five mini-auctions of emeralds mined at its Kagem mine in Zambia.
The mini auctions took place between November 2nd and December 11th. 28 lots were offered and 46 companies placed bids.
Eighty percent of the carats on offer were sold, with an average total value of $ 59.84 / ct.
